While wine and fruit preserves may not be a pairing you’re used to, we happen to know (from experience) that these two go hand in hand. To prove this theory, we brought in Smorgasburg regular and jam expert, Anarchy in a Jar. Founder Laena stopped by last Saturday with some of her favorite flavors and we paired them with our new German Pinot Noir, Borell-Diehl Spätburgunder Trocken Pinot Noir 2012 ($16). We loved the combination of the silky, fruity wine and the tart, smooth jam. An evening (or brunch) snack worth repeating!
