If you can’t see the one you love, love the one you’re with! Here’s a quick guide to shopping for Valentine’s Day no matter who you are isolating/podding/quarantining with, even if that means treating yourself! In the spirit of community, we’ve got ideas that combine wine with other gifts, all available along the avenue—call it a #MatchMadeOnMyrtle.

You know what’s fun? Having a nice dinner that no one has to work too hard to make and doesn’t require too much clean-up. Larina’s Pasta Shop has take out and cook-at-home options that will be special and delicious and also very easy! We can suggest wine pairings for any dish, and we definitely suggest starting or ending with a prosecco.

Your bestie who lives somewhere else
Send them a hand-made piece of art by our neighbor and friend, Voodo Fe’. He has a huge selection of homages to match any passion—from Frida Kahlo to RGB to Kobe to Mary J to Serena Williams to Yoda. If they live in NY or any of the states we are allowed to ship to, we can add a bottle of their favorite wine or spirit so you can share a toast when they unbox their gift on zoom.

    Your bae
Brooklyn Sweet Spot is making Love Boxes that contain a 7” Chocolate Cherry Merlot Cake, chocolate covered strawberries and a heart-shaped pillow plus a bottle of Champagne. We provided the Merlot so you can grab the same bottle for dinner!

    Your mail carrier
Show your appreciation for the front-line worker on your doorstep! Green in BKLYN has beautiful RoniSue truffles (made in NYC by a woman-owned company) in a variety of flavors. You can pick an assortment of 6, 12 or 15. Add a bottle of bubbly to make it extra special.

    Your favorite neighbor
Buy a gift certificate for a round of drinks and make an outdoor dining date at one of Myrtle Ave’s coziest spots. Pop it in an envelope with one of our Love & Victory cocktails pins so they’ll remember you forever.
