This delicious sparkling wine comes from Pine Ridge Vineyards, located in the heart of Napa Valley. This renowned California vineyard was founded in 1978 by Gary Andrus and has been committed to excellence for 45 years. Today, the Estate spans 200 acres over five Napa Valley appellations. Visitors to Tipsy are in luck because this vineyard is most known for is the Chenin Blanc + Viognier. The grapes are sourced from the Clarksburg appellation, referred to as the “Gem of the Delta.” The climate of this region provides the perfect growing conditions for Chenin Blanc grapes (which make up 96% of this wine), resulting in a natural acidity. Pine Ridge’s fermentation and sparkling processes create a wine that is bubbly and extra dry.

The Sparkling Chenin Blanc + Viognier is bright, crisp, and balanced with an incredible mixture of tasting notes. The most prominent are grapefruit and pineapple, but white peach, green apple, citrus, and floral notes are also present. Spicy food lovers listen up because this wine pairs perfectly with anything spicy. It’s a lovely accompaniment for appetizers, fish, salad, or sushi as well. Also of note is that this wine contains 12.5% alcohol, a moderate level that makes it easy and enjoyable to sip.
