Since 1787 the Vallana family has been into winemaking and continues to be one of the most prolific producers of the northern, Alto Piemonte. Bernardo Vallana’s legacy was picked up by his daughter Guiseppina and her husband Guy Fogarty who steered the company through difficult times and maintained and enhanced the classic style of Northern Piedmont. Five generations of the family have made wine at the present estate and today, Giuseppina Vallana and her children Marina, Miriam and Francis handle all aspects of viticulture and winemaking.
