Sunny Days and Crisp Rosé

Always one of the first rosés to hit the market, Moulin de Gassac Guilhem Rosé is a traditional S. Rhone blend comes from 25-50 year old vines grown along the Gassac River. It boasts a pleasant, intense nose with hints of strawberries. Full and round on the palate with red fruit flavors.

There are 50 different types of vines growing in the Guibert family vineyard which began in 1972 after Véronique Guibert de la Vaissère and her husband Aimé acquired the land and turned to their friend who was a geologist specializing in the relationship between soil and grapes.

With a desire to respect the local land the family embraces the scrubland forest, creating small area vines and allows the Mediterranean shrub scents (laurel, thyme, rosemary, lavender, fennel, wild mint, etc) to enhance the subtle alchemy and add to the complexity of their wines.
